What's Happening in Meeteetse?

Summer is starting out with a cool, wet bang this year which makes for some terrific greenness and wild flower shows. We should be seeing some beautiful wild flowers soon and this whole area is as green as anyone can remember. Bet the wildlife are loving it! We have some new and fun events coming up soon. On June 20th there will be a trip to Legend Rock with Park County archeologist, Dr. Larry Todd. On June 27th, there will be the Wagon Box Social Mountain Run which is a fairly easy, fun run...hence the name "Social". Then on July 11th, our first ever Meeteetse Dutch Oven Cook-off. This is shaping up to be a very fun and filling event where teams will cook dishes in Dutch Ovens and the public gets to taste as many dishes as they want and be the judges to determine our winners.
